Son of [[pinkney_harvey_randall|Pinckney Harvey Randall]] and Catron Gatewood Pace, Bushrod P. Randall (likely named in honor of his mother's brother, Bushrod Pace) was born in 1846 in DeKalb County,  Georgia.

On July 6, 1871, Bushrod P. Randall (at age 25) married Caroline E. Mason (age 20) in DeKalb County, Georgia.
