====== Elizabeth Jane Randall ====== Daughter of Ira Wilbur Randal and Lucinda (Lule) Jane Cleveland, Elizabeth Jane Randall was born during August 1868 in Franklin Co., GA. She married William Bryant Mitchell (1858 - 1932).((http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=81488605)) They had the following children: - Gomer Hannibal Mitchell (1886 - 1967)((http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=15956112)) - Walter Randall Mitchell (Aug. 30, 1891 - July 9, 1903)((http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=81489498)) - Jewell Mitchell (June 12, 1896 - Jan. 24, 1913)((http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=81489588)) Most of the original 1890 U.S. Federal Census records were destroyed or badly damaged by a fire in the Commerce Department in 1921. Records enumerating only 6,160 individuals—less than one percent of the schedules—survived. Those for the Mitchell family were destroyed. It is likely that some time after the death of Elizabeth Jane Randall's grandfather, Jeremiah Cleveland, William Bryant Mitchell became guardian over W.R. Randall and O.R. Randall (heirs in Jeremiah Clevelands Will). [{{ :elizabeth_j_randall:w_b_mitchell-guardianship.jpg?direct&800 |Franklin Court of Ordinary, September Term 1892.
