====== Samuel Sewell III ====== Son of [[Samuel Sewell Jr|Samuel Sewell, Jr.]] (1750-1815) and Chrisitan White (1759- ?), Samuel Sewell was born in 1786. Samuel Sewell, III married Susannah Chandler (1789 - after 1870), who was known to friends and family as "Susan" (born in 1788). Samuel Sewell and Susannah had the following (known) children: - David Sewell - married Caroline Martha Aderhold - Sarah Sewell - Married J. J. By 1870, all of Susan Sewell's grandchildren from her son David Sewell & his wife Caroline Aderhold-Sewell, were living with her. While Caroline Aderhold-Sewell (her daughter-in-law) lived next door. However, I've not been able to find solid evidence of this relationship. I suspect that, as was the case during this period, there were two brothers named Samuel Sewell.
