[Henry Veronica Randall-O'Barr and Clarence Dewey O'Barr] Daughter of Clarence Richard Randall and Rilla Zuella Pierce-Randall, Henry Veronica Randall (known to friends and family as Veronica) was born on Jan. 24, 1916, in Franklin County, Georgia.1)

On Sept. 16, 1900, Henry Veronica Randall married Clarence Dewey O'Barr (son of Allen Tilden O'Barr (Nov. 21, 1876 – May 23 ,1931)2) and Iola Victoria Palmer-O'Barr (June 23, 1881 Sept. 1, 1955).3)

Henry Veronica Randall-O'Barr and Clarence Dewey O'Barr had the following children:

  1. Jimmie Drucilla O'Barr (Jan. 23, 1935 – May 11, 2010) Born in Lavonia, Franklin, Georgia.4)

Obituary


Mrs. Henry Veronica Randall O'Barr, age 97, of Mesquite, Texas formerly of Henry County, passed away March 3, 2013.

Mrs. O'Barr was born in Lavonia, GA the daughter of the late Clarence Richard and Rilla Zuella Pierce Randall. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Dewey O'Barr; son, Ronnie Randall O'Barr; daughter, Jimmie Davidson and two great grandchildren.

She was a member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Atlanta. Mrs. O'Barr enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, flowers, pictures and making cakes.

Survivors are her son, Gene and Ann O'Barr of McDonough; grandchildren, Ricky O'Barr, Barry O'Barr, Bryan O'Barr, Dale Davidson, Lindel Davidson, Debbie Meeks, Fay Davidson, Cindy Davidson and Ronnie Hambrick; 14 great grandchildren; numerous great great-grandchildren; Sister, Sue Cawthon of Lavonia and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service for Mrs. O'Barr will be Friday, March 8, 2013 – 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Lewis officiating. Interment will be at Westview Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
