Julia Ann Sewell
Daughter of David Sewell and Caroline Martha Aderhold (July 9, 1830 - Sept. 25, 1892)1), Julia Ann Sewell was born on April 30, 1864 in Franklin County, Georgia.
On Dec. 23, 1852, David Sewell (at age 25) had married Caroline Martha Aderhold (age 22), in Franklin County, Georgia. Marriage Record for David Sewell and Caroline Martha Aderhold
Caroline Martha Aderhold was the daughter of Issac M. Aderhold and his wife, Sarah Stovall.
David Sewell and Caroline Martha Aderhold had the following children:
- George W. Sewell (1853 - 1951). Married Amanda “Mandy” Lee Burroughs (born in 1857) on March 12, 1876. They had two children:

- Matilda Sewell (1860 - )
- Sinda Lue Sewell (Sept. 21, 1862 - June 6, 1953). She was born in Lavonia, GA, married Ira Dillard Speer, and moved to Texas. She died in Kildair (Cass County), Texas.2)
- Otto K. Speer (April 17, 1885). He married Ida Fluto and settled in Conrad, Montana.
- Edgar Franklin Speer (April 10, 1886 - March 8, 1936)3)
- Ira Clinton Speer (Oct. 18, 1887 - Feb. 6, 1964)4)

When the “War of Northern Aggression” began, David Sewell joined Sharpe's Battery, GA. Militia.
David Sewell (Sept. 17, 1827 – January 1865) died from measles during the “War of Northern Aggression” at age 37.7)
He was buried in “Magnolia Cemetery”, Augusta (Richmond County), Georgia. Plot: Confederate Square #2-Row 3, Grave 10-South (Between 4th & 5th STS.& E.OF ESTES AVE.)
Caroline Martha Aderhold (b. July 9, 1830 – d. Sept. 25, 1892) died at age 62.
