Son of Anderson Smith Randal and Sophia Mitchell, Roland Pickney Randall (known to friends and family as “Roley” or “Rolly”) was born on February 2, 1866, in Franklin County, Georgia.¹⁾ Roland Pickney Randall was named in honor of Sophia's brother, Roland Mitchell.

On August 12, 1886, Roland Pickney Randall married his first wife, Georgia Alice Hall (July 26, 1866 - March 2, 1892)²⁾ in Franklin County, Georgia (often “misreported” as her having married “RT Randall”). Georgia Alice Hall was the daughter of David Boyd Hall (June 30, 1840 – November 21, 1911)³⁾⁴⁾ and Cynthia E. Galloway (December 23, 1839 – January 25, 1876)⁵⁾⁶⁾.

Roland Pickney Randall and Georgia Hall-Randall had two daughters together:

1. Eva G. Randall (Dec. 13, 1887 - Feb. 1, 1966)⁷⁾. She married. Charles “Charlie” Spurgeon Parham (July 27, 1891 - July 14, 1932).⁸⁾⁹⁾
2. Flossie Mae Randall (Jan. 28, 1890 - March 26, 1973)¹⁰⁾. On Jan. 20, 1910, she married Reese Richard Bird (Aug. 10, 1881 - Sept. 1, 1972)¹¹⁾, son of Francis Marion Bird (1846-1924)¹²⁾ and Catherine Brown Sorrells-Bird (1853-1934).¹³⁾

Georgia Hall-Randall died (at age 25) in childbirth along with her infant daughter, Bernice Terrilla Randall).¹⁴⁾ They were buried at “Martin Family Cemetery” in Carnesville (Franklin County), Georgia.

During 1894, Roland Pickney Randall (age 28) married Eugenia “Genie” Bishop (age 20).^{15) 16) 17)} Eugenia “Genie” Bishop was born in Spartanburg (Cherokee County), SC, the daughter of Henry Willis Bishop & Mary “Polly” Fields-Bishop.

According to descendants Wm. Robt. Randall, Sr. & Jr., Eugenia was the 2nd wife of Roland Pinckney Randall.¹⁸⁾ They are believed to have had the following children:

1. Artry Otis Randall (March 20, 1895 - July 23, 1980)
2. Boyd Semen Randall (Oct. 3, 1898 - Nov. 1968)
3. Elzora Eugenia Randall (March 19, 1901 in Ila (Madison County), GA - June 27, 1988 in Atlanta, GA).
4. Comer Henry Randall, Sr. (Oct. 17, 1903 - July, 1974) Comer's middle name, Henry, was likely in tribute to Eugenia's father, Henry Bishop.
5. Mattie Grace Randall (Aug. 8, 1906 - April 8, 1927). She is “believed” to have “married” Shaffer Judson Skelton (June 19, 1904 - Dec. 29, 1972); son of L. Snow Skelton & Winnie Skelton (born in South Carolina, but living in Hart County, Georgia at the time of the 1920 U.S. Census).^19)20)21)22) They had one son:
   1. Roland Randall Skelton (b. Aug. 8, 1906 in Hart County, Georgia - d. October 21, 1991, in Harris County, Texas)²³⁾
6. Robbie Ray Randall (Nov. 27, 1910 - ). On March 1, 1932, she married William W. Hibbert, Jr.
7. Martha Virginia Randall (Aug. 25, 1914 - ) Married to Vernon Miller.

Roland Pickney Randall died on August 23, 1915 in Lavonia (Franklin County), Georgia, and was buried in “Burgess Cemetery” in Lavonia, Georgia.^{24) 25)}

Mattie Grace Randall-Skelton died on April 8, 1927 in Hart County, Georgia, during childbirth.^26)27)28)

It is curious that Mattie Grace Randall-Skelton's husband, Shaffer Judson Skelton, was not listed on her “Death Certificate”. Nor was her married name of “Skelton” included on her tombstone (in fact, she “may” have had her son out of wedlock). Adding to these curious circumstances, Her son, Roland Randall Skelton, was taken in and raised by his grandmother, Eugenia Randall.

Shortly after WW II, on Nov. 19, 1945, Roland Randall Skelton joined the U.S. Army, where he servied in the Korean War - achieving the rank of Captain.²⁹⁾ He died on October 21, 1991, and was buried in Harris County, Texas.³⁰⁾

Eugenia B. Randall died on June 26, 1956 in Fulton County, Georgia (Georgia Death Certificate No. 16201), and was buried in “Burgess Cemetery” (alongside her husband) in Lavonia, Georgia. She was 82 years old.^{31) 32)}
