Son of Jesse Adams and Mead Anderson Adams and Lettice Christian Collier, Mead Anderson Adams was born on Dec. 26, 1839 in Georgia.

Mead Anderson Adams married Sarah Ann Davis (1866-1952). Sarah Ann Davis was the daughter of Thomas W. Davis and Sarah Kay-Davis.
