Mead Anderson Adams
Son of Jesse Adams and Lettice Christian Collier, Mead Anderson Adams was born on Dec. 26, 1839 in Georgia.
Mead Anderson Adams served in the Confederate “24th Regiment, Georgia Infantry”. 1)

Mead Anderson Adams married Sarah Ann Davis (1841-1888). Sarah Ann Davis was the daughter of Thomas W. Davis and Sarah Kay-Davis.
Mead Anderson Adams and Sarah Ann “Annie” Davis had the following children:
- Thomas Lee Adams
- Fannie R. Adams
- John W. Adams (1874 - 1880). Perhaps named in honor of Sarah Ann “Annie” Davis's Grandfather, John L. Davis.
- Jesse Dudley Adams (b. August 8, 1875 - d. January 7, 1953 in Stephens County, Georgia). Named in honor of Sarah Ann “Annie” Davis's brother, Dudley Davis.
- William Anderson Adams (April 11, 1877 - March 12, 1940). Likely named in honor of Mead Anderson Adams & his father, Jesse Anderson Adams (“Anderson” perhaps being a traditional family name)
