Thomas W.(Wilson) Davis
Believed to be the son of John L. Davis and Susannah Wilson, Thomas W. (Wilson) Davis, known to friends and family as simply “T.W.”, was born about 1816 in Anderson County, South Carolina.
On March 18, 1841, Thomas W. Davis married Sarah Kay.1)
They had the following children:
- Sarah Ann “Annie” Davis (1841-1888). She married Mead Anderson Adams.

Note 1: Sarah Davis was either incorrectly identified in this Census as “Sallie”… or was now being called “Sallie”. Note 2: The Census taker incorrectly identifies the birthplace of John L. Davis' father as Maryland - while his father… only 2 lines before, had identified his birthplace as Virginia!

Thomas W. Davis died on April 25, 1894.http://findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=116031678 He was buried at “Double Branches Baptist Church Cemetery”, Franklin County, Georgia. IF this is the same individual, then the birth date should have been 1816 (not 1813).
Sallie Davis died on June 5, 1904 (Apr. 18, 1820 - Jun. 5, 1904). She was buried at “Double Branches Baptist Church Cemetery”, Franklin County, Georgia.2)
